I've kind of gotten to the point where the only games I have installed on a regular bassis are games I can buy through Steam. So right now, I have around 118 games installed, give or take, and about another 15 sitting in my steam account that I need to download (damn Comcast with their 250B/month limit).

I need to run back through this thread and see if there's any mention of how to get Bioforge to work. I love that game and haven't had any luck playing it since Vista came out.

Use DOSBox. I can send you a .conf file for it and a shortcut that will make it work.

That list is beyond insane.

The 7th Guest. Ahhh, what fond memories. I wish a developer would remake the 7th guest as a first person horror/adventure/puzzle game with the cry2engine (or cry3) and do it up absolutely jaw dropping graphics/effects.

You seriously love yourself, huh? Bumping your own thread just to wank on about your games list? Fuck you're awesome.

Ah the memories! I love the list, just reminds me of all the games I've played throughout the years and discarded. I might actually go out and get a few!

I haven't read through the whole thread. Have you ensured that every game you have installed works? If so, this would be a great resource for known games that work with Windows 7.(Most games should work, but knowing for sure is better)

There are a few old games on his list that have issues even on XP with Nvidia drivers. Grim Fandango and Monkey 4 (Escape) for example only work in software mode for me and I have to disable D3D completely to have them run like that, which can be done in dxdiag on XP but apparently not on Vista or 7.

This is cool. I like to look through the list to see if you have all the games that I do.

The only question I have is this: at this point, is this an obsession for you (like collecting baseball cards/coins/you name it? The reason I ask is because it's obvious that you can't and won't play all of these games within your lifetime. I mean, you went from 600 to 627 in 21 days. I can only imagine what will happen over the next 10-20 years or however long you live.

You do have a nice collection of games though. What's the total GB as asked above?

More like how many TB

I've probably got ~100 games amongst my PC, PS3, xbox 360, and Wii... damn I can't imagine having 627 PC games.

Grim Fandango and Monkey Island 4 now work with with 3D Hardware. Had to use software mode in Grim Fandango until recently with the new nVidia drivers.

OP,

I have not the time nor interest in reading your entire thread but I do have a few questions. Please be so kind as to answer the following:

1) Why? What is the point to having so many games installed at one time. I'm just curious.

2) Of the 600+ games you have installed, which are you currently playing? Which are your all time fav?

3) Where did you acquire these games (it's OK ... I won't tell) and how much $$$ do you think you have tied up in them?

I'm just curious ...

Just out of curiosity, since you keep all your discs in a CD case where or how do you store your keys for the games so they don't get lost?
