Impressive! Do you even have time to play any of them, or do you spend all your time installing and patching games?

Oh heck yeah! Right now I'm going through Grim Fandango and Sins of a Solar Empire. After Grim Fandango I'm going to try Day of the Tentacle. The pixels are rather large on a 32" TV/Monitor.

I wouldn't mind being locked in a room with a good computer and that many games. It will probably take a lifetime to play through every single one.

Thats the same TV I use for my Xbox, except it's 26 inches. I think most old games would look best on a CRT due to them having no native resolution. I wish I still had one. Especially since a lot of those games run only in 640x480.

I think every game I ever wanted is somewhere in the list.

Jeebus, I barely have time to play the half dozen games I have installed now.

None of them are banned in the US (I don't think).

I'm sure he didn't get any of them through illegal means.

Where did you get the original Turok for PC?

I can't find it anywhere here. I do have Seeds of Evil though (but is not installed right now).

The Samsung has the ability to use 16:9 and 4:3 with black bars on the side. It works great for old games!

I've been using trackballs since the first Kensington Expert trackball came out in the early 90s. I've been using one since 1992.

I use to have the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 sound system. I've been using headphones since I got married (wife doesn't like all the noise). When I got the TV I unhooked the system completly. I use Sennheiser HD280 Pro headphones when playing games and use the built in TV speakers for everything else.

Hardware mode. There is a patch that allows hardware mode to work without the funky checkered background. It plays perfectly! With FF8 I have to use software mode since there isn't a patch for it.

What's the total size of your game folder?

I have every single one of them installed under C:\Games including the Steam folder. C:\Games is up to 596GB right now. I have 372.6GB free on my 1TB Samsung SpinPoint F1. My 250GB SpinPoint P120 is used for storing patches and my Windows XP VMWare image. The games patch directory is around 20GB.

Are you sure they all work? Some of those games are pretty ancient. Have you had time to actually test them all? A few that I might worry about would be Alpha Centauri (specifically the Alien Crossfire expansion, but you don't have that installed), System Shock, and Homeworld.

Ahh freedom force, I should go reinstall that
