I'm trying to help out a friend: is there a way to remove Internet Explorer in Win98?

I haven't used Win98 in a while so I can't remember. My friend's been getting module errors in Internet Explorer (i think IE4)

I told him to install a later version like IE6 or something. I know there's a way to take out the older version in win98 but i can't remember how? Does anyone know?
