I'm Not sure if this is the right board for this question so excuse me if it's not.

I'm trying to find out how much a 600mhz Compaq, (Model #12xL3) lappy with 128mb, 4gb hdd would be worth now.

I'm not sure if it's a PIII or a Celly. A friend of mine is thinking of buying it off someone and he asked my opinion.

Find out how much it retailed for new and what year it was introduced, then subtract 50% from the price each year... that'll put you into the ballpark.
