I'm trying (failing) at setting up a dedicated BF1942 server...

I'm behind a D-Link router. I've configured it so the server is on the DMZ. But for some reason it can't punch a hole to the outside world, server dosen't show up in game list. And i've tried to manually connect to it, from within the BF1942 client, and it tells me cannot connect to server. I'm behind a cable modem also. If you need any more info, ask.

Oh, and i've opened the ports on my router for the dedicated server client. I can set the dedicated server up for LAN only and it shows up in THAT list, but not in public, as i've stated.

I'm guessing it's an issue with being behind NAT, but I'm not sure. I know BF only likes to serve from IP address if you have two NICs. As for a solution.... *shrugs* :/

Well.. I think I may have it sorted out. I ran the dedicated server .exe, and looked at ZA to see what ports it was using. I just finished opening them up, now i'm gonna check it out to see if this works. /me crosses fingers
