My entire yard would be thick with trees. I think it would be great and look very nice.

But where else could you put your slip and slide?

If this isn't the weirdest thing in AT history for me.

Edit: He editted it. It used to be talking about his grass and how he hated it. Just that nobody was posting, because my (linked) forum is obviously more popular.

Edit2: His original weenie post.

Grass is the stupidest thing in the world.

It's just a real pain. You have to constantly mow it and get the crabgrass out of there, etc... Then there are the people who let it grow like 7" long before they mow theirs. I'm thinking of paving my entire yard...

Uh, buddy, there is no need to get defensive about this. I was just asking a simple question. You don't have to make stuff up just to be cool. If you want to see my views on lawn care and grass, I'll post them in the thread you created.

"My entire yard would be thick with trees. I think it would be great and look very nice."

Way ahead of you, though I didn't plant them, they were here when I moved in twenty years ago. I only have to cut the grass about twice per month, because the shade keeps it from growing. I do have quite a green thumb for growing moss and mushrooms, though!

If you think you can just leave it go to hell, like a forest or something, you're in for a surprise! Your neighbors would have your ass! It only looks nice when you have the drive, sidewalk beds cleaned of leaves and branches. Go to your local park and see what makes the "trees" look so beautiful. It's the contrast of well kept lawn near the roads, against a backdrop of trees and forest. You could let a large portion of the yard be "unkept", but you'll still need those green, lawn spaces for contrast. That is, if you care what it looks like...

I would not want the whole yard covered with trees. I would like a yard big enough so I can have a ring of trees and a greenspce between the trees and the house. That way the roots won't screw up the foundation and they won't fall on the house.
