I have a secondary computer with a K7S5A + 950 Duron and an $8 250 watt PSU - works fine. I've had good luck with the ECS boards, I guess. I am convinced that the SIS735 chipset is extremely stable, and with good performance. The LeadTek SIS735 board sure looks like a great board - anyone try it out yet?

And you are absolutely correct. Anyone sputtering about SiS 735 incompatibilities or "issues" around here is either a newbie or a VIA zealot 😀

SiS 735 is the most rock solid Socket A chipset right now. The only competition is AMD's 762, but that is found only on duallie boards. VIA's core logic is about as stable as my heartbeat after... well, you get the idea. 😀

I must be lucky I have yet to have a problem with either the 133a or the 266a chipsets. Of course this is only with Abit and MSI. I just got the Soyo Dragon + so that is still to be determined. Of course I have never cracked a AMD core either, tend to keep my upgrades current. etc. If I was going to pick a weakness in my system it would have to be the Microsoft products as the lowest common denom, especially outlook. Of course as soon as the nforce gets more competitive in price I plan to take a look in that direction.
