like, does this camera have the tripod hole off center as well? any red-eye problems? anyhthing else?

thanks in advance!

Its a great camera. I just got mine last week. But it is a bit high end, its about $500.

Has tripod hole on the left bottom of the camera. Has good red-eye protection...no problems or things that I dis-like yet.

the tripod hole is on the edge of the camera. The only thing I noticed different is that the LCD screen sort of lags when compared to other cameras.

I placed an order with Dell in March for this camera, and they cancelled my order a couple of weeks ago due to backorder :|
I got in on the 25% off SB S&P to get it a tad under $400.
Now I can't seem to find any good deals since Dell removed them from any 10% off deals.

Based on my previous experience with Dell Powershot Elph's (I had the S110, and S330, played with my friend's S200 and S230), I would expect build quality to be top notch and photo quality just as good.

BTW, if anyone can find a good deal on one, PM me :D

I own an S400 and I love it. Absolutely great.
No problems with red-eye yet, and even if there was that's what Photoshop is for. :D
Don't use a tripod so I can't say if it poses a problem, but I love this camera.

s45 might be good if you are looking for a high end camera, and it's close to the s400 in terms of price (IIRC)
