I have not completed all 24ogr workunits but I have uploaded workunits a cuple of times now. First time for 3 days ago. I must either look in the wrong place for my stats at distributed or I'm doing something wrong.

Anyone care to help me out.

Are these your stats?

If you want to do OGR I can send you a copy of my INI file with some suggestions. If you want to do RC5 then I recommend that you download Russ' disk like MWalkden said.

He he thx. It was not there when I checked it out earlyer today.

But what is the dif with just running RC5 or OGR?

It is easier to keep track of you stats if you just run OGR or RC5 (or seti, gamma flux etc.)

You will find that most people keep each machine on 1 project, though someone with a large heard like viztech has some machines doing RC5, some doing OGR and some doing Gamma Flux.

The problem with sharing OGR and RC5 on the same machine (with the default settings) is that the client will almost exclusivly do OGR and barely do any RC5. If you want to split you time you need to edit your INI file, and while you are editing you INI file, it is easier to just disable one or the other.

Edit: OGR is much more of a scientific contest, but in RC5 it is easier to keep track of your stats becuase the work units are smaller.

Is this normall?

After I changed the ini file so it only run RC5 I downloaded 24pack.. After thouse work units was done and RC5 downloaded a new pack on over 400packs!! Wow is it supposed to do this?

Possibly. The 24 packets could have been large ones 8^28 and the 400 could have been smaller ones 1^28. Also depending on other settings, it may have decided that you needed more work. If you want more definite answers please cut&paste both your DNETC.INI file and the relevant portions of your log file.
