Oh trust me, I'll be asking for good stuff. I've had so many surgeries that my body is tolerant to a lot of meds. If they don't give me something strong, it won't help at all. UGH!

Good luck. 9 surgeries in 11 years sure can't be a good statistic for anyone to have, so hopefully this is the end of surgery for a while for you.

All the best to you Heather. My kids had their's out in 2002, they were 8 and 10 at the time and it was pretty difficult, esp since the older one developed a bad ear infection during recovery. It's rough but I'm sure you'll be glad when you're all healed up!

Heh, I hope so too. My last one was January 3rd.

Y-M_M - I've heard about having ear infections associated with it. I know I had earaches for a while, but I haven't had an ear infection.

Good luck Heather. I heard from a coworker that your body gets used to Vicodin after a while, it stops being effective. Hopefully they will give you something more effective that will help with the pain.

Ouch.. Good luck.. Nasal surgey sounds like hell. A co-worker of mine has had major sinus surgery and he hates it. But I guess he feels better.

Yeah, I was taking about three a day and now I'm trying to take two or less. However, since my fibromyalgia has gotten worse again, I'm climbing back up. For my surgery in January, I had liquid Percocet and that helped a lot. If they can give me something at least that strong, I'll be okay.

Deleted member 139972 - My last sinus surgery wasn't too bad. I'm dreading the tonsils more than anything.
