I drove 30 miles to campus today only to realize I forgot my wallet. So I'm like, dammit now I have to drive back to get money to eat lunch and dinner since I'm on campus all day.

Then I remembered I barely had enough gas to get on campus in the first place. And with no wallet, no money to fill the empty gas tank.

I ended up borrowing some money from a friend, but man I was f*cked for a while. :Q

 
Driving around on a near empty tank of gas without your wallet is not smart. I agree. Especially since you wouldn't have had your DL if you got pulled over.
 
Sounds like a typical college student to me. 🙂

I was always broke as **** when I was in college. Still am regreatably. 🙁
 
Heh heh, that stuff happens to me sometimes. I got on a bus a few days ago without my wallet on me, luckily the driver was a cool old black guy who let it slide.

I would've just pulled off to the side of the road and called it a day...

EDIT: Actually, no I wouldn't pull to the side. I forgot that I have this nifty SpeedPass thingie now...(payment thingie attached to keychain, can use it at any Exxon and at some McDonalds)

true, but I heard that you have 24 hours to get your licence if you don't have it with you. I'm not sure how that works, but it's just what I heard.

Technically, the way the law is written in Ohio, they can hold you for the 24 hours.

Yeah,but I bet he made time to brush his teeth,so his smile wouldn't gross out the police if he got pulled over 😀
 
i left for work once without wallet..got on train...
cops decided to check trains for people riding for free...
needless to say my train pass was in wallet...so i got booted off
train with 100s of people watching...and got a $70+ ticket too.
