I'm subscribed at Dell.com but I never get emails

What's up with this? I'm subscribed to get email updates from them which I guess include coupons but I NEVER get any emails from them. I've bought several items from them both as a Home/Home Office customer and SB customer. I've subscribed but get nothing. I guess it's possible that my spam software is blocking them but I looked and don't see them on my blacklist. Can someone post me their return address? Do emails from them come from ____@dell.com?

yes the same thing happens to me and i don't have any filters. i emailed support and they kept on giving me instructions on how to subscribe even though i already was. then they told me to email some other dept and i did but they never responded. :| :| :| die.

Yeah mine were getting bounced as spam so I whitelisted @dell.com

Yeah, I tried to do this in Mailwasher but when I test the filter ( *@dell.com ) it says "the email address to test the wildcard against is not well formed"

I was adding *@dell.com to my friends list.

I spent around 15 -20 minutes today trying to get a human at one of their 800 numbers. At one point it said I was going to be connected to the next available agent, but it evidently _forgot_ and it started routing me with questions again. Finally gave up when it said something like "our latin and ___ connection service is not operating at this time... please call back during normal business hours." Obviously a screwup in thier labyrinthine voice call handling system. I wasn't going to call back a 3rd time and attempt a navigation to a human. I decided to try them on Monday.

Maybe you have to buy something?

I bought from them a few times and I'm subscribed to receive email newsletters but I never get any. I'll call them tomorrow. I'm sure if I'm persistent I can work it out. "Persistence and Determination ALONE are invincible." - Hunter S. Thompson, Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail '72

Pretty stupid marketing plan on their part -- I was toying with being lazy and having someone else build my next rig so I gave Dell Home my email address about 6 weeks ago. So far I've received the confirmation email from them and nothing else.

You're doing a pitiful job of trying to entice me to get a Dell, dudes!

Call 'em. Dell's probably the best of the big online sites to order a rig from. Tech support is a notch or two higher than the others and they really carved out the space on the Internet. Made Michael Dell a billionaire.

Nah, I'll almost certainly just build it myself again like I've been doing since the i386 days. I've only bought one prebuilt in the last decade, a Micron P133 back in '95 when Micron was a cutting edge PC company.

I'm also annoyed at Dell for not offering dual-format or "-" DVD burners in their machines, just "+". But it still was tempting to have someone else worry about P4 mobo memory compatibility and do the assembly for me.

I'm with you. I've built all my own machines. I did seriously contemplate getting a put-together box a couple years ago but wound up buying all the components here and there and assembling myself again. I helped my brother get a Dell a month or two ago, though. They're happy with it.

So far I've gotten few coupons.

In the Hot Deals forum I've seen a lot of discussion of buying at Dell.com and much mention of coupons, 10%, 15% discounts, stackable coupons. I've never seen a one of these and decided to get to the bottom of it. I WANT MY COUPONS! 😀
