I dont know where you live but look for a store called Light Years ... they have them here (North Carolina) and they have really awesome jewelry for under 50 bucks ... very trendy and fashionable

Tiffany & Co.

It's what my GF wanted me to get her stuff from.. of course, I couldn't afford anything in that store..

Except for this.. which she actually loved. :)

Ok, wait. Are you looking for a neck-less girlfriend, or a necklace FOR your girlfriend? Just curious. ;)

I found silver necklaces ranging from $25 to $55 at each of these places:

Ashford

Bluefly

Overstock

iQVC

I'm sure there are more, but these all look really nice and fit your price range. I know QVC is generally considered something for old people, but my mom buys all of her silver jewelry there - it's very nice quality and they ship fast.

Blufly has some pretty good stuff. I got my gf a nice cashmere sweater for Christmas. I didn't notice any jewelry though. Ashford is way expensive, unless I missed some stuff...well, there was some stuff I could afford, but it didn't seem to be my gf's style. I couldn't afford anymore jewelry after her birthday, anyways. She has an unfortunate addiction to Tiffany's jewelry that I unknowingly contributed to on her birthday this year. I ordered her a nice sterling bracelet from Tiffany's Online, thought the price was OK, and checked out. Later, I get a confirmation email with the total. They charged me for the bracelet, exaggerated UPS (don't get me started) shipping, and the local New Orleans sales tax of 9.5% (yeah, I know it sucks). The reason I had ordered it online was so that I wouldn't have had to pay tax on an expensive (for me, at least) purchase. That sucked.

In the December issue of InStyle magazine, there is an advertisment for an Elsa Peretti necklace from Tiffany. Sterling Silver chain and pendant that is a letter of the alphabet for $80 + shipping. I don't know if it is on their web site or not, but I am sure if you called them, they would know what you are talking about. Good Luck! :)

I'd recommend looking around Ashford.com -- there is the 20% off from MSN Passport plus some additional coupons floating around if you look hard enough. Some good deals to be had.

Find a good Pawn Shop. I got my gf a goldnecklace with a diamond(real, 1/3 carat) for $48 last year. She loved it.
