I'm stunned at human stupidity.

So I'm watching this show calls Project Earth (or some crap like that) and they're talking about global warming, and how to create more reflective clouds to reflect more sun light.

Fast forward to how they're achieving this feat, forget the technology, just look at the logistic for a second. They're planning to use a fleet of 1500 diesel boats to create these cloud particles, while the directors of the show are riding around in a Hummer.

Sighs...

I watched that too, along with the replanting mangrove trees via helicopter. The whole thing was ridiculous.

For the boat one, I was making dinner during the episode so I missed some of it. Why the hell were they going to use that absurd air pressure movement system on the boats rather than hooking up a propeller to whatever motor was spinning those tubes?

On the previews, it looks like they're going to cover glaciers in foil and hope to launch mirrors into space.

Obviously there will be no unintended consequences.

The reflective cloud thing is going to work so well that everyone on Earth could start driving Hummers. 😛

And with more clouds, and less light getting through, won't that slow down the metabolism of plants?

Focus less on global warming, focus more on reducing pollution.

Though since there are some concerns about the sun itself causing the increased warming effects throughout the solar system, maybe focus some more studies on the sun, and figure out what the heck it's doing.
