I'm stuck on Uncharted

I made it to the castle/fortress after the plane wreckage and I am in the sewer area. I climbed up of column and jumped from a wooden platform to another platform that had a closed gate. I hit triangle to open it and fell down into a pool of water. How do I get up?


Btw this game is kick ass so far!

is this like in that big room with water and the scaffold type things up top, where you have a pretty big gun battle?

Yes, but I killed all those baddies and made it up on to the platform, this is the next room over

There are always either hand holds on the wall,or a ladder. In some cases the task is multi-part, and you need to do something like turn more than one crank to release more water, so it will rise high enough for you to get up. Worse case scenario, reload the checkpoint, hang out for a minute, and use left trigger to view the hint. Unless you turned those off, in which case turn them on temporarily.

I thought the game was beautiful, and the best I've played in the genre.

Yeah that room has hand holds on the wall, that lead up to levers that release more water.

yea what these guys said, there is some wall scaling that is to be done there after you climb up on the scaffolds. you have to jump and do some wall scaling to the next piece of the puzzle if i remember correctly.

I got stuck a few times and almost everytime was because I missed a handhold/ledge somewhere.

you have to go into the alcoves and turn levers to flood the room with more water
