Jumper on the harddrives? Well I have tried 3 different HD's.
1 maxtor 120gb
1 WD 120gb
1 maxtor 160gb
The WD didn't even need a jumper on it. Posting from my other box with the WD now.
For some reason it only fails to boot when I have a HD attached. I have tried both 40conductior and
80 conductor ide cables.

Do you have any fans? etc? What is your PSU?

can't, no jumper for it.
Exactly.Originally posted by: coldcut
No need for jumpers, just remove the battery for a few seconds and put it back in.

Will try that.
As for the f7 bios I don't want to try that. Before the mobo had the f6 bios and
it gave me the same problem before I upgraded to the f8 bios.
I would be flashing bios from cdrom so I could not backup save old.

itll be quicker if you just short the pins... but if you prefer to just take off the battery... make sure you the PS isn't connected or is unplugged.
