I had an opportunity to walk a girl home because she was really distressed at what had happened that day, I was 'comforting her' through the ordeal after school about this and that yada yada yada and she asked me to walk her home.

I proceeded to walk her home because nobody would give her a ride, or something of the sort so when I got to the stop light (to cross the street onward to her house) either she asked me or I realized that my 'carpool' needed to pick me up at about 3:30 (it was like 3:10) and I didn't have my cellphone because I had lost it probably 6 months prior.

So I told about my situation and asked her if she was absolutely sure that she could go on her own and she nodded and said yes and that I should just go with my carpool. Well I opted to go back and wait for my carpool, which felt like a ****** eternity and I eventually was picked up.


Now I'm asking the nerdy atot,

What should I have done?
Do what I just described in the story?
Do what I just described but I bit different?
Go with her, have the carpool wait and be pissed off, then call my dad so they can rag on my and ****** but have gone down a 'path' that is basically unknown and could have led to "better" things or possibly 'worse" things...

Nobody else was there :( There was basically no option at all for me to call, I mean I coulda called from her house but apparently it was ****** far away....

Wow, you're still making excuses. You screwed up big time man. One thing I've learned is to take advantage of women when you get the opportunity because ANY chance most of them get to screw you over, they take it. Think about that the next time a woman tells you that you can't watch the game because you have to go over to HER co-worker's birthday party or something.

You just let down your entire gender at once, wtg

EDIT: what? the house was far away? I thought you were across the street from her house and then turned around and walked all the way back :p

Thank god or whoever you pray to that you're not any good with the ladies, the last thing we need is more people like you.

All kidding aside, you're overanalyzing things. You should give her a call and make sure that she got home fine and apologize for not waking her the rest of the way. Let her know that if she needs someone to talk to or something that you're there. Check what her reaction is, if she kinda blows you off then yeah you probably missed your chance, but if she talks further then you've got an in.
