Hi,

In previous months Corsair Value select pc 3200 RAM, seemed to be the ram of choice and everyone was recommending it. Now people are on about Gskill. I have yet to open my ram, awaiting mobo and cpu (A64/Nforce4 Ultra).

My question is if I intend to overclock, will the Gskill offer that much more performance or higher clock speeds that the Corsair Value Select? If will newegg allow an exchange on an un-opened item that I haven't even had a month?

Interested to hear your thoughts.

Thanks

James

I stopped reccomending CorsairVs because the G.skill is only like $10 more, and the VS has problems with the DFI Ultra-D which is the overclocking board of choice.

G. Skill is definetly better for OCing.. not sure about the newegg situation but I'm pretty sure they would allow it if the price is equal or lesser? Or maybe you could add some $ ?

Ok i'll get the Gskill then, how do I go about returning the Corsair VS? Just call them up? Has anyone else been through this procedure and could offer some advice?
