I'm Korean. I grew up listening to K-pop over 20 years ago. Then I stopped because I thought I grew up. Then I JUST now am getting into it. Fun songs are fun.
For kids, this song is apparently trending hard. It's damn addictive to me too.

Anyways, I looked them up. There's another 'behind-the-scenes' video that follows them around and they share their day and etc. Didn't MTV have something like that for stars?

Things I observed as an adult:
- The record label(s) are purely manufacturing their product (girl bands). These girls got scouted 5 years ago prior to debut. They spent 4-5 years undergoing their in-house training and being beautified up. They went through massive dance courses, choreography, they all have youtube channels. I'm sure the company told them what to do from marketing perspective.
- Songs are of course written by others. But then that's same for all major record labels too (Backstreet Boys, New Kids on the Block, etc)
- They all have an image - just like boy/girlbands.
- One vid showed their beautiful pink themed house where the 4-girl members live. It's beautiful with a magazine-level modren home. But as an adult, isn't that basically a forced corporate housing? LOL
