Originally my wife was going to have to go back to Colombia on August 11th to finish her school and apply for her greencard there. Well, our lawyers have advised that we can now file for her stateside because of some changing circumstances, so now she is staying until December. She will have work authorization in a few months, too. She still has to go back in December because she has to finish school (she just has one semester left).

This is truly a blessing for us. I prayed for it, too. Guess I need to pray more often.

At any rate, I feel extremely happy right now. Everything in our lives is going well right now. I hope that continues.

Congratulations on your marriage (hot wife++ ), and I'm glad for you that God wanted your wife to remain in the US. :)

congrats

my brother had the same situation. his wife is swedish and she had to go back to sweden to apply for her green card. she also had to finish her last semester of school. this was all complicated by the fact that swedes get free education as long as they work in sweden for 2 years after they finish school or something like that. they managed to get an exemption.

she finally came back for good in june.

Good for you Mill! Hey, if you ever have time to post (or even PM) the story I'd be interested. My brother is looking to marry his GF that lives in Japan and is just starting to learn what the process would be to get her here...
