I'm so excited, I just can't hide it...

Going today to test drive a new 2007 Shelby GT500. Thanks to GOOG, I am deciding to splurge a bit and will probably buy it today if I like it a lot. I know the one I have now is just as fast but I want one so bad. The one I am looking at is white with blue stripes, silver interior.

If I am not as impressed by it (yes I know all about them, I have been reading reviews about them since they came out), I will probably wait until January for the Shelby GT, which unlike the GT500 has actually been to the Shelby shop and has better racing characteristics. We will see. Pics soon to come when I get back tonight.

A dealer I was at in Ohio said list was around $50-$55k but since they couldn't keep them on the lot they routinely went for $85k easy! Yeah, that's right, eighty-five thou. And I wasn't buying/looking at one so it's not like he was setting me up. We were just discussing some of the hotter fords... Ford GT, etc.
