I almost got the impression they were trying to get me to get off the stage....nah, couldn't be.We knew working down at the local strip joint would pay off for you, it just takes a little longer when they throw change at you instead of dollars.
Yours then? No, I don't mean your old gnarly pantyhose...
If he messes up his scholarships, I'm sending him to the Marines.Community College I take it?
Woah, I've just been woke-ed.100 dollars would barely cover even just the stationary required for a single quarter / semester.
I think inflation has outpaced you by a large margin if you think those bags will do anything in terms of education.

The problem these days is that the state colleges have lost state/federal dollars....inflation and competition has driven teaching wages up (as it costs more to get a PhD to teach)...and then IT and operational costs have risen....new buildings and dorms all cost more. So that drives tuition prices up....then the departments and programs want more money and they start tacking more fees on because administration won't cover it from the main tuition allowances. I know someone who works for the state and gets a 50% tuition discount for her daughter. She said that's great, but the 50% doesn't come off the fees...so she's on the hook for a lot of money per course that her daughter enrolls in. She makes very little money, so her daughter will be taking out loans to cover the difference. When I was in school 20 years ago, I was pretty fortunate and only accrued $1300 of college debt. I can't imagine I would have been able to afford my first house had I been dealing with school loan payments.100 dollars would barely cover even just the stationary required for a single quarter / semester.
