I'm sick... Updated... I think I'm dying. Help.

So three days ago, my nose got really clogged up. The next day, I started to feel really sick (not nauseated, just like I had a cold), and that night I started to run a 101+ fever. The day after that (which I think would be yesterday), I felt a lot better, and I thought my condition was improving. My sinuses were still stopped up, but Sudafed was helping. Skin was very sensitive (but it always is when I'm sick), and I feel achy all over.

Well, today, my fever came back, 99-something right now, and my throat started to hurt when I put my head forward. I just looked at my throat in the mirror, and...

...dear lord. My throat is really swollen. And purple. This has never happened. I was just eating some chocolate, so it looks worse in there than it is, but man. My tonsils are really swollen. Maybe I have tonsilitis? Or something? There's not a lot of redness (it's purple), and there's no white spots like strep causes.

I don't know. I have an appointment with my doctor for tomorrow, but after seeing that, I think I might need to go sooner. That was scary lookin'. :Q

Update: Well, my doctor prescribed some antibiotics and a decongestant. He says he doesn't know what I have, but it should clear up in two days or so. If it doesn't, he instructed me to write out a will.

I'm not looking forward to being out in the sun on those decongestants... Those always make me feel woozy.

Special note: Last time I went to see my doctor was... July 2nd, 2003, with some other mystery disease (bird flu?!). He asked if I had been out of the country recently. 😛

But seriously, maybe you should go see the doctor today if possible. It sounds pretty bad. Are you taking anything other than Sudafed? Ibuprofen always helps me when I have a fever (although this may be uncommon). Good luck with it, hope you feel better.

Haha, well, at least he won't want it back.

I've been taking Ibuprofen to help with the fever and aching... Calms things down a little. I just didn't expect a relapse or new symptoms like this, or I would have called the doc sooner.
 
Oh yeah, and I snorted out this thing this morning. It was about the size of a raisin, flattened. Really mucus-y. Greenish-beige. It was bloody on one side. I swear, it was really nasty. I guess it was a huge booger covered in snot.

I wrapped it up tight in several tissues and put it at the bottom of the trash can so it couldn't get away.

I dug up the tissue wad, and it's all dried out now. Not too impressive anymore.

Fvck, it happened again. Two chunks of something. Pink... One is bloody.

I think I'm sneezing out my brain.

I had taken a decongestant tablet, but it wasn't working, until after I blew my nose and a chunk flew out. I blew it again and another came out. Now my nose is clear. It's not bleeding or anything. I don't know what the hell is going on.

I mean... damn. What the hell. I don't know what to say to this. I've got both pieces on a tissue and I'm looking at them. Mucus membrane? I don't have a clue.

I feel fine, except for the headache.
