Christ, every sports site has a new Mariners headline every damn day! I'm sick of hearing about the M's, Ichiro, Boone, Kaz...Seriously, they need to start losing some games before I go f'ing insane!
Well, you gotta understand where they're coming from. This team lost 3 of arguably the best players in baseball the past few years. This year they added an every day Japanese player, which hasn't happened in MLB. Now, they're the best team in baseball. The media loves cinderella stories and this is one of them.
Thats ok,the M's are no doubt a solid all around team. But they play in a weak @ss division.
I like my Boston Redsox this year 😉1st place and we dont even have Nomar back yet.
When we do..............................
This is our year,u can quote me on this.
<< Seriously, they need to start losing some games >>
Not to worry, you'll get your wish. They're The Mariners, after all. They are the masters at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory (and, screwing the taxpayers in the bargain).
This early in the season, in first place, and still the Red Sox fans are looking in their rear view mirrors to see if the ghost of Bucky Dent is approaching.
Ugh,Yanks fans always harp on the same things Bucky Dent,1918 etc etc..
the Yanks dont even need to see the biggest curse of all in the mirror father time 🙂it was a good run yanks..now its over.🙂
ncircle, I like you, I really do. But your misguided optimism makes me fear for your emotional well being in September. How many tears have Red Sox fans cried after yet another heart breaking loss to the "old" Yankees?
I still remember where I was when Gossage popped up Yaz for the last out in the "Greatest Game Ever Played".
hope springs eternal as they say.
I dont believe in curses,i do believe we have a team thats very capable of winning it all this year.
Well see how it plays out in the end.
I like our chances this year.
