Well I was eating lunch today, started with my Pb&J sandwich. Then I moved on to my Cheeze-Its. Well I was half way done with my cheeze-its when I pulled on out with a cockroach on it... I flung it against the wall. Well I was looking through the bag and there was another one at the bottom of the bag too! Made me feel very ill.... I hate cockroaches more than any bug around I think...

Gee, I mean I had a hair in my food but that wasn't my doing. Get the damn pest control guy out there or start washing your dishes. I've never dealt with a cockroach anywhere near my food before.

Just think of all the cheeze its that you did eat. Those cockroaches were feeding on them and pooping on them too. Yummy.

ust moved into this building not too long ago. I've heard that there are problems with cockroaches I just did not know the extent. It?s a 30 floor building in downtown Chicago, on the first floor is a big restaurant which I believe draws in the roaches. We leave nothing out in our kitchen and wash the dishes as we use them. The Cheeze-its were up in the cuboard and closed( maybe a small hole I don't know). I don't know what to do if we keep our apartment clean and others don't they can still come in. I guess invest in some bug traps? I don't know my wife won't be too happy...

doesn't matter how clean your place is if you have dirty neighbors, they'll keep coming over

that?s what I figured... there is a small crack under our door that I bet they can get past easy. Anyone else have this unpleasant experience and any tips to deal with it?

Yeah. You could have the most spotless apartment in the building but if the majority of your neighbors are slobs or even just some close by the roaches will come in regardless. You're helpless.

I hate roaches with a passion. They disgust me more than any other bug.

Try boric acid and roach traps but be careful what you use if you have small children. I am sure there are plenty of remedies available on the web if you do a search.
