I'm Sick because of my dad?

I think I'm sick because Wends. night my dad turned on the heat for a excessive amount of time and I woke up with sour throat and it progressed into coughs and my ears sort of hurt. I'm SOOOO pissed tonight I was supposed to goto a football game and go bowling afterwards because my friend just got his license. My dad is a jerk#%@#@%#

This is not the first time its happened though whenever he leaves the heat on for a long time I wake up sick.

It don't just kill bad breath man, this sh!t is so strong it'll BURN whatever bacteria you got in your mouth...INCLUDING the ones causing the sore throat. I know, I have a bottle at the ready whenever I start feeling a 'tickle' in the back of my throat.

Be warned, the more bacteria you got in that mouth..The more it's gonna BURRRRRRN while you're rinsing!

Doesn't do much good to just complain, find a solution.

Move out, get a job and pay the bills then you can set your thermostat wherever you want.

Talk to him and find a setting that is comfortable for all.

Look into getting a humidifier for your room. Heating can dry the air out making it more likely for some germs to take hold. A humidifier does not cost that much.
