I'm Screwed with my current hardware. aren't I?

Hey everybody, I've recently been bit by the PC gamer bug after years as a console gamer. I currently do have a CPU, but it is serverely lacking on the graphics. I'm also a novice when it comes to computer specs.

From what I understand from my limited knowledge, I have a few major issues with this computer. One, is the power supply which is 250 watts. Looks like I would need to upgrade that first. Second, I think the GPU only has 1 PCI express slot for gaming. Most of the Graphics cards I've seen require 3 slots and at least 450 watts.

Could anyone help me with this? In there anything salvagable from my current setup?

Negative. Only the powerhouse cards need 3 slots. Even then a lot of them only need 2.

And you're not actually plugging in those slots, it just needs the space.

u could prolly find a 7750 cheaper than above but thats single slot
it wont be balls out but plenty capable of running most at modest stuff

honestly id salvage it all
$100 drop in upgrade
game on it til ur sick of it and buy something entirely new
that being said its te only thing i would buy for the system and wouldnt sink much more into it as ull approach the cost to build something/buy alot better

Max power draw is about 60w so probably.

Any 7750 would likely fit in your case. It's a standard micro ATX motherboard. But just to be safe, here's one with a single-slot backplate:

Also happens to be a deal at $94 shipped, no rebate. There are better deals out there on cards one step up, but I wouldn't use them with your power supply.
