I just saw a thread about a person who was having problems with his Kingston HyperX RAM. My friend is going to get some RAM for christmas. He was planning on HyperX, but he went to a computer store and they said that they dont carry HyperX or something then told him many of them were defective....

I ordered some HyperX from outpost.com, and its on backorder. Im worried that whenever I get my RAM, that its going to be defective. Does outpost have a good return policy? Will i get my money? or credit? I looked on the site, but found nothing useful.

Also, has HyperX lost its luster?
