I'm going to Flordia next week and have a condo on Daytona Beach. With all the shark attacks Im kinda paranoid now to let the family or myself enter the water.

I'm I worried about nothing and should jump right in and have fun or stay the F*ck out of the water!

you have more chance of getting hit by a lightning than gettn killed by sharks (statics say)

but then agian, if you're already in water, and already in FL.. then raises up the percentage A LOT!

you shouldn't worry about it.. I know it's not gonna actually stop me from swimming when im just hanging with friends at Daytona beach

Don't go in near dusk or dawn
Do not wear shiny jewelry or watches
Stay near other people
Do not wear white or yellow bathing suits
If you see A LOT of fish, get out

Follow these rules and you should be very safe :)

trust me, it really isn't a danger. You shouldn't worry about it. I live in Panama City, and I haven't thought twice about jumping into the clear water.

<<<True, but 42.7% of all statistics are made up on the spot...>>>

then, there is 42.7% chance that 42.7% of all statistics are made up on the spot is made up as well

*here begins endless paradox *

but isn't there also a 42.7% chance of people who say that "there is 42.7% chance that 42.7% of all statistics are made up on the spot is made up as well" are made also made up as well? Or so I hear :p
