So I finally got around to canceling my world of warcraft account today and feel sort of sad for ending another great game and letting my characters fade away 🙁

It was nothing against WoW and I loved my time playing it from starting in closed beta and killing off a lvl 60 warrior tauren, 27 mage who I was mainly working on trade skills, and a lvl 16ish rogue I was just fooling with.

I know it's just a game but with all the time you spend in it it makes one sad to see you end it. Just like in EQ with my "chompman souleater" wizard when I finally left that game.

Sent most of the items and what gold I had left after buying a Epic mount (lots of gold for those that don't play 😀) to the guild master and said my good byes.

So:
RIP: Chompman lvl 60 Tauren Warrior
RIP: Chompette: lvl 27 Undead Mage
RIP: Chompy: lvl 16 Undead Rogue

(yes I use chomp to much but hey that's me 😀)

As a side note, to all you gnomes, I will be letting you live for another day until I see you in WoW 2 or something. 😀

Now to find another mmorpg other then the rose online I have been playing for a bit...maybe look into the matrix but who knows.

1. It's not right since it's against the rules.

2. I could probly still but I just wouldn't feel right doing it to my characters I made and to the people I made friends with in the game and I did the same thing in eq and coh.

3. I play the game to have fun, not to make money.

Wowzers. You ended a fictitious, imaginary, harmless, non-contributing part of your relaxation-social life....this upsets you?

Um...you DO work and like, make money to support yourself and contribute to society, right?

Thanks, but not sure if I feel like playing another mmorpg much at the moment.

Might look into it but I just feel like playing some fps after playing these types of games for a long time and need to get that out of my system or I might start doing that kind of thing in real life and that tends to be frowned on. 😛
 
Oddly, i did the exact same thing today. The game just doesnt have the flair it once had. Goodbye soberogue 51 🙂 GNOME

Yeah, I always have an FPS handy to keep it balanced. But then again, MXO is a bit different than the standard RPG, so it might be easier to play longer.

It's just you do spend quite a bit of time playing these and to get where you are game wise.

That and I play computer games to much. 😛
 
I am planning to do the same. My plan expires end of this month, and I have been playing since it came out (although I rarely had time to play).

Farewell to my lvl 43 priest and lvl 28 mage (Gnome!)
 
I'm considering it as well... problem is I spent all that time wooing a great guild, and gained early entry.... seems like such a shame to quit now before I even get goin on the good raids.

The GF HATES the game... so there's a pro-quitting argument there. She refers to it as her "arch-nemesis"

Yea, mc is a pain but it's a fun place to 1st test out a 40 person raid.

Though in all the raids I was there no one ever got nocked into the lava though one was close and he landed on the edge that he had to get a warlock to summon him since there was no way back up.
 
Why not likey ROSE online? Except for the bugs, KSers, rasists, non working things, crashes and stuff its actually a great game! 😀
