Why not go for a couple weeks at the end of august or something - 5 months is a pretty long commitment to drop everything!

If you're really attached, you'll get through - I had a girlfriend go away for three months once, and it sucked, but when she got back it was great

Seriously tho', I know someone that worked in NJ, but went to India to train her replacements a year ago. However, after the training, she ended up taking a job in India herself, and is still working there now!

My friend was telling me stories about how she practically has her own cab driver, since she has the U.S. mentality and tipped this guy one time. Now, he would wait outside her hotel for her to come out in the hope that she'd need another ride.
