meh, I'm getting about $4K back. And no, it wasn't planned. Thanks to Bush's tax cuts mid year and some huge interest and points deductions from my house closing in January of last year, I am getting more than expected.

Even better, is the fact my effective tax rate is about 9.8% for 2003 on about $125K in income :D Oh, and I don't want to hear any whining from you liberal money grabbers about this.

You're my hero.
I rent, have no kids, and all my bills are paid. Without looking at my statements, I hope at least they (IRS) give me a kiss after they've bent me over the table. :(

I'm definitly not 'rich' and I'm getting 5k back according to Turbotax. Once I meet with a CPA I should be looking at 6k.

it certainly isnt "just getting by"

anyway, im getting 5k+ back. usually go to H&R block, they were packed, wife went to jackson hewitt and they said "do it this way" (h&r block never offers any advice....) and instead of paying out, were getting over 5k back.

all i have to say is: goodbye credit card

a 2k return is not rich. bush gave taxcuts to people that get more then his entire salary as their return.

The rich don't get refunds, we always paid sometimes two to four times a year. :|

I don't get where your logic is going. If it helps everybody it's not good?
