Before I say anything I would just like to clearly state that I don't not intend this in any way to discourage anyone, whether current or future from participating in any DC project.

That said, let me continue my story. Over the last few years I have been an active participant in multiple DC projects with Team AnandTech. Due to what is going on with my job and home life, etc. I have not had the time in recent months to be as involved as I would like anymore. I have been debating whether to take a little break (hopefully not permanent) from projects. With the end of my current project (ECCp-109) being
announced I decided this would be a good time for this to happen. So I am officially announcing my retirement (for now) from the world of DC.

I have enjoyed every project I've done quite a bit and I will continue to read this forum and contribute in any way I can in the future. Again let me please make clear that I hope everyone here continues the great work they are doing with all the projects, and I hope DC continues to grow in popularity and power.

After the cleanup from the ECCp project today, my herd will be silent for the first time in a long time.

Congrats and Thanks to everyone who helped out in the ECCp project!! A great job was done by all, especially Chris @ ND who put the whole thing together!

Respectfully
DnetMHZ

Thank you for all your contributions to the TA DC effort. :)

RaySun2Be will likely give you a good *whack* with his cane on your way out. ;)

I know how you feel Dnetz as well as many others, this economy is taking a big toll on everyone affected. Priorities first, projects later. Hopefully we'll see you when things turn around.

First, I hope things get better for you, dnetmhz. I understand how the work thing can be sometimes (not right now since I dont have a job :p), and I sincerely hope it will get better soon.

You have provided some very interresting topics in DC and other forums in the past, and I hope to see more. Its been a pleasure having you on the Eccp109 team. Good luck. Best wishes. :)

Nope

I will however give Dnetmhz a 21 cane salute for all he's done and all he's contributed to DC projects. :D

Even though you've "retired" the fleet, you are still welcome around here! :D

Hope you find time to get another DC project running on your machines. I'm sure it'll be getting chilly this winter without all those CPUs running! ;)

We'll leave the light on and the door unlocked (it would be open, but can't seem to be open to attacks by other Teams ;):D) :)

I hope to see you around the forums :)

*Steals one of Ray's canes and joins in in the salute* :D

With so many AT members and others not just AT out of work, maybe possible to add a job networking forum? I know people ask to add forums all the time and I see they all get turned down, what about re-naming one of the forums not really used much like Peripherals or Highly Technical?

I have kind of been pondering setting up something like that on my own. But with unemployment comes lack of motivation... Ill download some stuff soon and play around, maybe Ill build something worthwhile.
