one of my drives has a loose connector, like the 5 pin power connector fits loosely into the drive's female connector... i have a massive amount of airflow in the case (enough to jiggle the connector every few days, and i have to go through hell posititioning just right to get it working again...i just spent 2 hours watched the sunrise trying to find a solution...good old duct tape.... hopefully this will hold for longer.... the speed benifiits just outway saying eff it and going with a single OS/temp drive setup.... because 3x20.8 just blows it out of the water.... 80MB/s sustained transfer speeds vs like 35 is just to good to throw it out the window....

You can get considerably faster than that, these days, with a single drive. here are a few examples.
