Sorry about making so many new threads but it seems like every time the thead starts to get long, people just stop replying... Well Anyway i am just going to ask a few questions and please if you could answer them, your help would be GREAT!!!!

1) So would this work, just like if i was to use the IP zone edit gave me?
I went to the Register Nameserver page on namecheap and set ns1.igeyobiar.com to
MY IP ADDRESS... then i went to the TRANSFER NAMECHEAP DNS TO WEBHOST and set
the primary Nameserver to ns1.igeyobiar.com... Should that work in a few hours?

2) Are there any disadvantages to using Zone Edit nameservers over doing it with
Namecheap... I have an IP for a Zone Edit Name Server so if i did that any slow downs
in the page load or anything?


Please i just need help with domain crap... i know about hosting... to clear that up... 😉
 
If you want to host your web site on your home PC, you'll need both ZoneEdit AND NameCheap.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
