I put together a new pc about a month ago, and its time to start gaming again/watching movies. So I need a whupass sound system. Any suggestions?

Gamethater xp or SB Live Platinum?
Cambridge or Klipsch?
 
audigy + klipsch

that would be the newest and greatest setup right now. audigy's are getting GREAT reviews, and klipsch setups rock
 
what if I didnt wanna spend all that money on an audigy? SB Live Platinum or GTXP? And which Klipsch system would you recommend?
 
well, the promedia 2.1's are a nice little stereo + sub pair. the 5.1's are incredible, but you pay through the nose. (not that the 2.1's are cheap)

are you looking for budget speakers here or kitt-butt speakers? what's your budget for everything?
 
i do believe the audigy's are comparably priced to the platinums...but not sure. i'd suggest if you dont want to spring for the audigy that you go for the sblive platinum 5.1 and the klipsch promedia 2.1's. you'd seriously be rockin out with that setup.
