I'm ready to move to Las Vegas from Ohio! Please help!

I'm in Columbus, Ohio. I'm ready for a change. First, I was thinking Florida. Now, I'm set on Las Vegas. Yeah! But I'll need a small apartment and, oh yeah, a job. I'm 24 and a recent OSU marketing graduate. No wife yet. I'd appreciate your input regarding apartments and places to work. I love visiting ATOT place for interesting info and anecdotes -- hopefully someone has some Las Vegas experience to share. Email info would be great. Thank you!

That's cool. I wish I could do something like that. But my job field neccesitates following the job, not the job following me.

I had a friend that actually lived in like a Residence Inn hotel in Vegas. It was a bit cheaper than an apartment, and they were able to save up some money for a while to buy a house.

Get a job with CSI in Vegas...they all seem to dress very well, drive nice cars, dine in 5-star restaurants, etc.

I live in Ohio too. Remember Ohio is one of the cheaper states to live in. Las Vegas on the other hand is totally opposite.Those $400 a month apartments here are more like $1500 there (if your lucky). Also your car insurance will be at LEAST double.

What else do you need to know? LOL. She doesn't live there anymore.
