I'm publishing a user guide.

'How to make a working computer into a pile of spare parts.'

1.Reboot computer with bootable Win2K CD
2.Wait
3.Delete working partition
4.Create new and format.
5.Wait while W2K is copying files.
6.Let W2K install reboot machine
7.😕
8....
9....
10.Profit. You now have a pile of spare parts since machine never continues with install.

:disgust:

This works very well on old POS Compaqs with busted floppy controllers.
🙁

Just disable it in bios

The thing is that the CD is the only way to boot now and since it all got fscked up I now have a pile of parts.
If the floppy controller worked I could boot from a floppy.....maybe not... the computer didn't even enter BIOS.

I would like to aquire publication rights to this "user guide" you have wrote. However, due recent political problems in my home country I am unable to pay you directly or produce the large number of books that I am sure will sell very well in my home country of the Congo. If you would please send my manager a check for $50,000 I will return that sum to you in six months time along with 30% of the profits from the sales. Please send this amount as soon as possible.

Hello Mr. Happy Puppy,

My name is Dr. Mombuto Ziafe

I understand you are interested in the many wonderful investment opportunities that exist in my home country of the Congo. Computer books are currently selling very well in many regions of the Congo. I can only see growth in this already fantastic industry. To become an investor I will need an initial investment of $25,000 as soon as possible. You will receive 10% of the profits from all computer book sales throughout the Congo. I will need you to act quickly as there are many other interested parties who wish to invest vast sums of money in this enterprise.

Mr. Mombuto, I am a very busy man and don't have time to be making money transfers and writing checks. Would you be comfortable if I gave you power of attorney and access to my bank accounts? That way you could transfer whatever funds necessary for the fantastic investment opportunities in your portfolio.

Let me know ASAP and I can have the necessary paperwork and authorizations by noon tomorrow. I am very excited to get in on the ground floor of such a wonderful opportunity.

Thank you, thank you very much.
