First time I can remember getting killed in a dream.

Went to bed this morning at about 5am-ish. In my dream a friend of mine and I both got on a plane, just a normal passenger jet I guess. The plane was about half full. I went to sit next to my friend and he just told me to sit where ever since the plane was not full so I sat in the row ahead of him.

While I was sitting down some girl ahead of me said something about how she wished it would stop raining. So I sit down and the second I do the plane takes off, pretty much instantly we are taking off and in the air. During the takeoff the plain leans to the left, which is the side of the plane I am on. I can see the ground straight down from the window since we are flying sideways and we crash into the ground very quickly.

I woke up and could not move four about 10 min. Scared the crap outta me!

Anyone have any good dreams?
 
I have a very weird habit of dreaming I'm waking up, only to find I'm still dreaming. Quite often I will dream of waking up maybe 6-8 times in a row before I finally do. Usually follows a freaky dream. F'n' weird.
 
I've had a dream within a dream. Talk about trippy. And yes, I've had dreams where I was killed by gunfire, falling from high places, etc.

believe it or not, that happens to a lot of people. It is called (IIRC) Sleep Paraylisis. It is when your brain 'forgets' to reconnect your muscles to your brain. Otherwize, you would be running in bed. Not a good idea.

Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. Sometimes it puts me in a good mood and other times it gives me weird vibes all day long. I think I've only been killed by gunfire several times, and all those gave me weird vibes. I hate the ones where it's not a fast death and where I'm lying there dying slowly and then I wake up.

I also hate dreams where something really good happens then I wake up and go through my whole day thinking it's true until something happens that makes me realize it wasn't true. For example, I haven't even THOUGHT about buying a next-gen console because they're so expensive and I honestly don't have the money or time for one, so it'd be a waste, but in this dream I had last week, I'm out doing laundry and my dad brings me and Xbox 360 Premium and I was like "Dad, these are expensive, what are you doing?" It was just weird, I haven't even looked at the specs of those things, much less talked to my dad about them, and then I dream about him randomly buying one?

You have issues. Go see a shrink. Maybe you're seeing one already. Donnie is that you?
 
The weird thing about my dream is that after I "die", I'm still conscious, but its pitch black, and I can't feel my body anymore. :Q
 
i've had dreams where i've been shot. it's very wierd, since it almost seems real.

I can feel the impact, but pain hasn't settled in yet. I touch where I've been shot, and I can feel liquid coming out, look down, and i see blood, but still no pain. I'm in disbelief, shocked, and scared. My heart has this incredible shocked and sinking feeling, i start to feel cold and desperate, as I can feel more blood coming out of the wound.

Then I wake up
 
I had a dream I died in a Nuclear explosion. I saw a flash and then all of the sudden the explosion came and hit extremely fast. Damn that felt real, I was still asleep after I died for a split second and thought "so this is what it's like to be dead," then i woke up. Trippy as hell. Normally I don't have dreams like that though.

Odd, sounds like your dream is more of a movie than anything else... For me, dreams that are scary like that don't really involve dialogue or atleast dialogue that I can remember...
 
I watched a vampire movie when I was 8 or 9, and it scared the crap out of me. Later, I woke up standing on the bed screaming about the vampires coming to get me.
Here is where it gets funny.
My brother had been having a dream also, about us being chased by these mafia types. They were somehow tied in with the police, so he had to obey the laws while trying to evade them. He is waiting at a light in his dream, and the bad guys are catching up. The police are watching us, so he can't run the light.
He comes running into my room during my screaming terror, telling me, "it's OK, it's OK, it's green!!!" I wake up and I'm like "WTF, mate"??
 
dream i get tickled to death by ET in an alley way... sounds weird and it is. Also i used to have dreams of my rope swing swinging me into the air hella high a mile or so then falling.

Nope, probably not a good thing. Eh.... *almost all* might be an overstatement, but it's certainly a simple majority.

Dreams are weird, I've experienced most the stuffs you guys are talking about here. When I dream I'm killed, most of them are violent, I see myself dead in another person's view. When I'm really tired, as soon as I put my head down, I feel like falling into a void, just nothingness for a second or two, then I'm aware of the mattress beneath me. Dreams are fascinating and scary.
 
I have dreams about falling, It's probably because I hate hights.

What is really freaky is when I was a kid I would get really BAD cases of deja vu, and then remember that I had a dream about it. It got to where I would know EXACTLY what was going to happen about 2 sec before it would happen. Doesn't happen anymore, maybe it because I don't sleep good now or something else.
Some of my dreams I pray to god don't come true...
 
I have an inordinate amount of dreams where I am wearing no pants. I am not embarrassed in the dreams but it is a constant theme. Maybe I should wear pants when I sleep? 😛
