im pretty satisfied with video card prices while others arnt

i remember back in the summer when i was going to buy a 6800 gt ppl were selleng em for like 325 +/- and ultras were like 450 and so on.

same with x850 and such

and they were pretty old already and still expensive.......

7800 gt's can be had for under 300 now and gtx can be under 400 on ebay and these cards are pretty fairly new.

im liking the video card economy minus the out of range x1800 xt and 7800 512 gtx prices

I agree if you aren't shopping for the highest end and can wait for prices to fall where they always do then you can get some great deals. Like my eVGA 7800gt, it's a great card and I only spent $300 on it. I can't imagine people paying for the 512 gtx. I was really looking forward for another great product and lanch from Nvidia but they kinda let me down on that one which is why I went with the 7800gt. Not a bad move in anyway but still wish their high end wasn't so elusive. I can't wait to see what Ati and Nvidia have in store for 06.
