Those lounges are nice, eh? Grab some free beer, food, and use the wireless connection ;)

Yes, I said free!

Hello and welcome to 2004. ;)

Actually Ive been posting on AT since 2004 using my pda/phone and it IS very handy. The only thing was it cost $600.

It uses GPRS or WIFI or BT. It even has a built in cellular modem for dialup connections if all else fails. If you have ATT DSL (which weve had since 2000) you get a free dialup account. So I can use that to burn up all my free minutes.

Overall, it was worth it especially since I make money with it. I answer customer questions quickly with the email function and get RTQ stock quotes PDQ from https://mobile.scottrade.com

While browsing, emailing or updating an excel worksheet, Im also listening to podcasts of radio shows or mp3s Ive downloaded using the 4gb sdcard. Windows media stops immediatly if a phone call comes in, which I can press a button and record the conversation if I want.

I do wish it had a faster CPU though. It was designed for extended all day use and does the trick, but can get stuck if overloaded with multiple simulataneous CPU requests from all open applications.

PSHT! Welcome to 1999 (or was it '98?). Back in the day I used to browse the internet on my Philips Nino with it's clip-on 19.2k modem :).
