Don't know if I'm thrilled about it or not.
I work at a Ford service department, and last week on the 2nd day of the Firestone tire recall, a lady called in and said she had found a cat on the side of the road.
On her way home, the only 4-week old kitten crawled up under her dash. We couldn't talk her husband through removing enough panels to find the kitten, so I told them to bring the car over, we'll get the kitten out.
Took over 30 minutes. Long story short, they turned the A/C on, and the cat, which was sitting on top of the heater & A/C box, fell down the max air door when it opened. Poor thing was sitting in the middle of the fan cage, I had to remove the blower motor and out came the kitten.
Well, the lady was so happy she called a local news station and they came out this afternoon and interviewed me and the lady with the kitten.
(The kitten is fine, btw.)
I'm not really thrilled being on camera, but it beat talking to every person in the world about their tires, I guess.
