Please, read this thread for background.

I walked into CompUSA today to check their prices. Within 2 minutes of entereing the store, I was approached by the general manager, Peter, and one of his retail managers who did not speak to me at all.

Peter - "Hello, my name is Peter and I am the General Manager at this CompUSA."

Me - "Hi Peter"

Peter - "I understand that you have a key that opens up the X-Box display."

Me - "Yes, Peter, I do have a key that opens up the X-Box kiosk"

Peter - "May I have that key?"

Me - "No Peter, you may not have my key"

Peter - "And why is that?"

Me - "Peter, this is a universal circle key that can be purchased at any hardware store around the nation"

Peter - "Fine, but if that thing gets stolen, I'm going after you FIRST."

Me - "Thats fine Peter, you have all my employee records (he started walking away from me at this point) as I used to work here in customer service"

Peter - *mumbles something as he walks away quickly*

I understand their concern about the key that I possess, but it is a universal key. He was also rude to me and was extremely aggressive towards me.

I hate jackass managers. Its part of the reason I left that store. I'm going to laugh when CompUSA finally dies in a few years.

You would have been better off just giving him the key and not caring what he does, although I can see how what you did would be so tempting... :)

I had previously opened up their Kiosk. That was in the thread I linked.

I didn't even do anything to it, I just turned it on and closed it back up. They got all pissed because *GASP* I could have stolen it even though it was secured with some mega clamps inside the kiosk.

That is prettty funny. I wpould have done the same. I love it when people leave themselves open for smart A$$ answers

Peter - "I understand that you have a key that opens up the X-Box display."
Me - "Yes, Peter, I do have a key that opens up the X-Box kiosk"
Peter - "May I have that key?"
Me - "No Peter, you may not have my key"

I would have been nice to him had he not been so aggressive. But he acted like he had something up his ass, so I proceeded to push whatever it was further.

Get a bunch of those keys and each time you go in leave one right in the lock for the display.
