But don't tell anyone. ;)

Remember when 100,000 miles on the odometer was an achievement? I do. Now, I feel even older.

Just read this: "Instead, Toyota will rely on a high-output 2.4 liter four cylinder and a hybrid version of the same engine that pumps out nearly 136 horsepower per liter of displacement. Remember when 100 horsepower per liter was a milestone number? Yeah, you’re old."

100 HP/L in a production car was was a big deal, when it was Naturally Aspirated. I remember a lot of Honda Vtecs doing that in the 1990's.

136 HP/L on the new Tacoma, is from a Turbo, which is not impressive at all.

Then why mention it like it's a big deal. Mercedes is selling a Turbo with over 200 HP/L.
Your replies say a lot more about the level of your emotional intelligence than I fear you are equipped to understand. It was a joke, Leroy. Got that?

Tldr: Feck off.

I think you need to learn how to tell a joke, if you think that was funny.

In a garage forum, I'd expect more technical accuracy, whether humor related or not.

You are a tedious, humorless little man with the personal interaction skills of a turnip.

Your rigidly narrow minded expectations are a huge part of your problem, as a human being. it is not helped by your reflexive sense of privilege that posts and forums can only be as you expect, exacerbated by your "on the spectrum" tone deafness.

Melania wants to have a word with you.

I feel old after reading this. LOL. I guess we all have our cranky days. I do often feel old beyond my years though, at least in some ways. But in other ways I feel like a child, more playful and humorous.

When I came back to my childhood home for two months, after nearly 5 years wandering around Europe, all of just about 30 years "old," I was sitting on the back porch with my Dad on a Summer's eve, and had occasion to say to my Dad that I still felt like a little kid inside.

My father, this towering man in whose shelter I had come of age, this man who could do anything, surprised the living hell out of me as he answered, "So do I."

We are all still little children on the inside. Indeed, it is important imho to be kind to and even nurture your inner child. In then end, our bodies falter and our heart eventually stops beating, but up to that point, in the one way that really matters, you are only as old as you feel.

And now, back to the hideous abortion that is the latest Mustang's front clip. ;)
