Holy bonkers. I just realized how old I truly am. Man, does it suck to feel like that. Game over. There's nothing left to say.

Old as in geek terms or old as in regular people terms?

Old for geek is anything over 30. (that would be me)
Old for regular people would be anything over 60.

You are only as old as you think you are. I know many people with the same health but some are in their upper 40s (mother-in law for example) who refuse to do anything since they are too old, and others who are in their 80s (such as a 88 year old man) who goes out dancing, does martial arts, and other activities and has a great time. Heck I have a 28 year old sister-in-law that refuses to do anything downtown (movies, plays, dancing, bars, anything) since that is for 'the youngsters'. Which do you choose?

1) A lifetime bording yourself in your home being couch ridden since your age has reached some magical number that you feel is too old.
2) A lifetime of fun and entertainment.

Twenty-four isn't that bad... live it up while you still can.

personally I think your age was well overdue last year. I read OVER and OVER that 63 year old retirees say wish they ended their lives 40 years earlier when they first became over the hill at 23. :p

I mean maybe I'm not old physically yet. But I'm old for what I am. I look back at my life and see that I had been a nobody, it's like I never even existed. There was absolutely nothing worth mentioning. I'm a loser baby, that's why I feel so old. Yep, had I been younger I think I could still try to change something. Can I start a new life now? That's a big question that's still bugging my head every day. The problem is that I don't have much time left. Just a few years ago I had an eternity in front of me. Now only a couple of brief moments and it would be too late for anything.

Would you really want the burden of being important? I wouldn't. I'm glad I'm just a nobody:)

That is exactly what I was talking about. You mentally feel old - but you aren't. Maybe you'll live until you are in your nineties. Are you going to sit on your rear for 70 more years since you didn't think you could try and do something about it? If so then yes your prophesy is true - you will have been a nobody for your entire life as if you never even existed. But yes you can change it. If an 85 year old man (the 88 year old I mentioned above) can start ballroom dancing lessons for the first time to do something new, then you at 24 can do something new as well. But as long as you have the attitude that you are too old or cannot change you will forever be a worthless pile of ....
