I'm obsessed with Reuben sandwiches...

mmm...Reubens are one of my faves.

Try a grouper reuben. Same thing, but replace pastrami/corned beef with a big piece of fried grouper. Delicious.

Denny Crane talked about his club serving them on Boston Legal a couple of weeks ago, and I've had a hankering since...

Reuben sandwhich:

* rye bread
* mayonnaise or Thousand Island dressing
* corned beef
* sauerkraut
* Swiss cheese

The only thing on there that isn't terrible is swiss cheese.

Is Arby's Reuben any good?

It's okay for a purchased Reuben. I think that any homemade Reuben is better than one that is purchased.

Maybe it was just the Arby's I went to, but mine was horrible.

not bad... but b.l.t.'s w/ avocado (a pinch of salt on that avo also) are my sandwich obsession. oh yeah, and the potato bread has to be lightly toasted. now thats some good eatin'.

The meat is passable, the dressing is barely passable, but what really makes it atrocious is their bread. It's got some sort of artificial rye flavoring or something. Really nasty. Plus it's not grilled properly (maybe it was lightly toasted).

Reubens are indeed tasty sandwiches. I could use one right now with a big mug of coffee to wash it down.

Eww Reuben and coffee? Replace coffee with Pepsi and we got a deal!
