This guy is a huge troll. He started posting while I was banned, but I was following his posting closely while I read the forums during my ban. He tries to turn almost every thread he posts in into a religious debate, regardless of the topic. I don't know why the mods allow it to continue - he is 100% troll, I doubt that he is even genuinely religious.
 
If you see that he's a troll, just ignore him. A one sided debate doesn't get very far at all.

There isn't a need for locking. Just stop countering. If other people continue the thread, so be it, just ignore it.

I don't think he's trolling in that thread (I haven't read most of it, to be honest) but I do think some of his posts are immature. But he's not the only one. If it really gets out of hand, I don't see that the mods wouldn't lock it shortly after.

If he resorts to personal attacks, then I think that's actionable. Quote an example, that's usually the fast track to mod intervention.

There have been plenty of threads locked at the OP's request. I don't see why this one can't be locked. 🙂

If you want to make comments about the thread, the least you could do is read it so you aren't just babbling about something to which you admittedly do not know anything about.

I've read enough to see that you are perpetuating the thread by engaging the "troll" in question.

It sounds more like you aren't satisfied with his arguments. If you really think the thread has been victimized by trolling, stop replying back to him and report the posts using that function.

And if you think I am just "babbling" here, you might as well not reply to me.

1) No trolling, flaming or personally attacking members. Deftly attacking ideas and backing up arguments with facts is acceptable and encouraged. Attacking other members personally and purposefully causing trouble with no motive other than to upset the crowd is not allowed.
