Using PC wizard 2006 and cpu-z my mhz is showing 1599 mhz for a e6300 shich should be 1830
I have one stick of PC6400 DDR2 ram in it. I've tried many things
with the limited AMI BIOS the board has. In the BIOS the muliplier
is listed as 7x but , cpu-z is showing 6x?

thanks ... K

What you see is (probably) SpeedStep power saving at work. Leave CPUZ open, give the processor some actual WORK to do, and watch how multiplier and voltage come up to their max values instantly - and drop back down when CPU load goes back to idle levels.
