I'm not really digging my new pair of glasses

The lenses are made of polycarbonate (I think) and it feels like I'm inside a fish aquarium looking out. I usually wear contacts only.

Welcome to my world . I haven't been able to wear contacts since the 80's - my eyes are too damn dry.

I found this too when I got my current glasses. The lenses tend to attract everything, and it takes next to nothing to cause them to be glarry which sucks if I'm in a situation where I don't have access to something to clean them. My old glasses I could put my finger on them or have them get wet a bit without a problem, these ones a simple touch of the finger leaves a huge glare spot.

Yep, this. I had glasses similar to the ones you posted, when I first got glasses and it took me a while to get used to them. When I switched from those to a thicker, plastic frame, it took another adjustment period.

I find I can't wear the glasses w/ nose pads because the lenses sit to far from my eyes and the curvature is too strong, bending the world like a fish eye lens.

I had to wear glasses for 2 weeks before I got my Lasik surgery and it took about 2 or 3 days to get used to the fish bowl feeling.

Worth putting up with it for 2 weeks though to never again have to wear glasses or contacts. At least until I get older...
