Because 20's on a desert race truck are soooo useful.

It'll be a kick-ass truck, and the 6.2 is a kick-ass engine (as I watch 6.2L blocks going through the CNC's).

SVT was reformed. There's a good in depth article on PickUptruck.com talking about the logistics and why they went with an off road vs a street truck like the Lightning.

I don't even see why they offered the 5.4 as a base option though. For $3K, go with the 6.2...that thing will scream. (It's what, an extra $60 a month over 5 years?) Seems like a no brainer on the engine choices. (Although the 6.2 won't be available until later on in the year)

Finally, that 6.2 Boss engine will definitely end up in the Mustang, it's about time...

Now the S197 will be a 12 second car stock, probably not until 2011 though

Why can't it be used like a truck? I plan to use it for anything I need a truck for, plus take it out to Vegas and do some of the desert runs out there. I want the 6.2 in black with the orange interior package.

Perfect timing. I'll be needing to upgrade from my regular cab F-150 in 9 months and I've only got one payment left on my wife's car. 😀
